The original design name was The Donnemara a Donegal carpet designed by C. F. A. Voysey. The carpet incorporates Tulips and roses in the field, as well as tulip buds in the border. It was originally shown in the Liberty’s of London catalogue in 1903. The color scheme shown here is unique as most arts & crafts carpets are in pastel color.
