Sometimes referred to as Senneh, Sanandaj is a small town in Kurdistan, western Iran. Sanandaj rugs are among the best in quality in tribal Kurdish Rugs. The patterns of these are almost always geometric but sometimes bears great resemblance to the Bidjar. Older rugs of this type are extremely valuable and durable.
